This recipe makes two “pies” bakes in bread dough and filled with ground beef and pepperoni. They puff up when you bake them and my family really likes this meal. The leftovers seem to disappear too, but with two teenagers in the house, leftovers seem to be rare!  I think this recipe came from the Western Producer paper originally.

  1. Brown beef and onion. Drain. Divide one loaf of bread dough in half. Press over bottom and up sides of 2, 9" greased pie plates. Sprinkle each pie with 1 1/2 cups of mozza. Divide beef mix and spoon over cheese. Top with pepperoni and mushrooms. Divide other bread and form into 2, 10" pie circles. Cover each pie with dough and crimp edges. Spread 1/2 the pizza sauce on each pie and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 400 F for 25-20 minutes.
