An easy and delicious week night meal!
Yield: 4 Cutlets
Ingredients:
2 packs (4) cutlets
salt and pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
1 ½ c. flour
2 eggs
2 c. bread crumbs
rosemary and thyme to taste
vegetable oil (or the oil or fat of your choice)
Instructions:
1. pat cutlets dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
2. prepare three bowls; one with flour, one with two beaten eggs, and one with bread crumbs and herbs.
3. coat the cutlets in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then bread crumb mixture. Ensure that the cutlets are evenly coated.
4. fill a frying pan with vegetable oil, enough to submerge the bottom half of the cutlets. Heat to medium-high heat.
5. place cutlets into hot oil, fry for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Flip and repeat. Set on plate with paper towel to soak up excess oil.
