Honey Cake

A great honey cake to serve with powdered sugar or fresh berries! Recipe adapted from delish.com.

Cook Time: 45 minutes
Servings: 9

(2 cups) Flour
(1/2 tsp.) Salt
(1/2 tsp.) Baking Soda
(1/2 cup) Butter, softened
(1 cup) Honey
(3) Eggs
(1/4 tsp.) Vanilla
(1/2 cup) Sour Cream

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9" pan.

  2. Whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat butter and honey (with a hand mixer) until it is smooth and creamy. Then add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla.

  4. Add dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Add sour cream and mix until combined. Do not overmix.

  5. Pour into pan and bake for about 45 minutes.
